Vocational Rehabilitation

Consistent with the mission of fully integrating individuals with disabilities into mainstream of the society the NGO offer pre-vocational and vocational training. Rehabilitation Therapists help the trainees learn a vocation & gain a sense of self worth, economic independence and in the course learn to improve inter personal relationship. Above all the individuals become a contributory member in the income generating activities of their family at a later date.

Vocational Rehabilitation assists individuals to secure gainful employment commensurate with their abilities and capabilities through local job searches and awareness of self-employment and telecommuting opportunities.

Aim is to help individuals with disabilities to obtain employment through the provision of counseling, medical and psychological services, job training and other service:

Psychological and vocational assessments.
Counseling and guidance.
Referral to services from other agencies.
Vocational and other types of training.
Services to family members.
Rehabilitation technology services.
Placement in suitable employment.
Post-employment services.
